The commitment ceremony
A Commitment Ceremony is designed for those couples who wish to celebrate their love for each other without the legal implications of marriage. Together, we will design a ceremony to reflect your individuality and your love for each other.
A Commitment Ceremony is ideal for all couples.
Some couples have committed themselves to a future together but do not feel a legally solemnised ceremony is right for them.
I will work closely with you to design a ceremony that reflects your personalities, beliefs, family traditions, cultural values and your choice of ceremony setting.
Involving others
Family and friends are so very important to us, and there are many ways in which they can participate in your Commitment Ceremony. They may recite readings or be included in symbolic rituals. Family members and friends can be mentioned in the story of your journey to this wonderful occasion……or they can simply be with you as you celebrate your love as a couple.
Planning
Whatever your relationship may be, please remember that a commitment ceremony is not a marriage, and therefore does not carry the same legal implications. It is an occasion to celebrate!
